Beware Caesar the Ides! Beware boys the malware!

"This Knockout Instagram Girl May Be the USAF’s Most Cost-Effective Recruiting Asset."

"Airman Kelly Davis' depictions of life outside Air Force duty hours portray an adventurous, aspirational lifestyle that could help influence other young people to pursue an Air Force career."

"She has more Instagram followers than the Air Force’s new F-35 Demo Team. Her Instagram is followed by nearly as many people as the well-established Air Force Heritage Flight Instagram page. She has three times as many followers as the official USAF ROTC Instagram page. With 12,200+ followers on Instagram compared to 10,300 for the new, official U.S. Air Force F-35 Demo Team [and] there are more eyes are on her page than the Air Force’s most expensive demo aircraft."

Kelly Davis. Described as an airman!

And boys as I have said beware the Kelly. Not Kelly personally but images as might be found on Instagram and downloaded to your PC or smart phone. Entities, possibly foreign intelligence services hostile to the United States might have secretly embedded malware in those images, risque, enticing and alluring as they are. Malware that allows the unknown and hostile entities to take control of your PC or smart phone without your knowledge and use YOUR OWN device against you in some manner.

"A good licking"!!

Indeed!

"Royal Mail ripped for D-Day stamp depicting the wrong event"

The Royal Mail got a good licking for planning to release a stamp marking the 75th anniversary of D-Day by using an image of US forces landing about 8,500 miles from Normandy Beach, according to a report.

The stamp in question. We all make mistakes from time to time. Some more permanent than others. NOT Normandy. NOT D-Day. Close does not count either in this case?

Captioned “Allied soldiers and medics wade ashore,” the stamp was meant to depict the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944, in France — but was actually taken in Dutch New Guinea in what is modern-day Indonesia

See also this image from the Democratic national convention of 2004. A tribute to the American military and American veterans with Russian naval warships as shown inadvertently. Personally I have often thought the incorporation of Russian vessels rather than American was some sort of sick insider joke. I do have my doubts.

Terminate with extreme prejudice!

As it was in Vietnam in 1969 as it is now in Afghan almost fifty years later?

From a variety of sources the killing of unlawful enemy combatants in captivity a hot button item:

1. "If a Green Beret Is a War Criminal, then So Is Obama"

2. "THE GREEN BERET AFFAIR 1969"

3. "Robert B. Rheault, Green Beret commander in Vietnam scandal, dies at 87"

Additionally as it was for Robert Rheault in 1969 and Mathew Goldsteyn in 2018, so was it also for Breaker Morant in 1902!

Wars of the unconventional variety produce atrocity and tension for which the exigencies of combat often necessitate drastic measures, even if deemed illegal by the Laws of Land Warfare?

Terminate with extreme prejudice even unlawful enemy combatants forbidden? That is the question!

Keine Deutschen erlaubt!!

Yet further more extracts with my commentary from original articles as seen at the isegoria.net Internet web site topic the Great War.

"McCarthy, the Wilsonite"

"Ralph Raico’s ironically titled Great Wars and Great Leaders compares Woodrow Wilson to Joseph McCarthy — unfavorably"

"We have all been made very familiar with the episode known as 'McCarthyism,' which, however, affected relatively few persons, many of whom were, in fact, Stalinists. Still, this alleged time of terror is endlessly rehashed in schools and media. In contrast, few even among educated Americans have ever heard of the shredding of civil liberties under Wilson’s regime, which was far more intense and affected tens of thousands."

Anti-German sentiment in the United States during the Great War most pronounced. All things German bad. Lots of stupid propaganda and downright foolish actions done in the name of patriotism and national solidarity. Lots of dumbness with hindsight! YES!

From the time of the Great War onward distinct German ethnic communities in the USA on the way out never to return. The German language as either spoken or read in a newspaper now verboten. Ethnic German communities with a beer garden on every block too a thing of the past never to return.

Deutsche sind nicht willkommen!!

Wait however several decades and you find the names of Eisenhower, Nimitz, Krueger, Eichelberger, Spaatz among the highest command echelons of the USA military during WW2. Time heals all?

Take them out!

Conclusion!

The intermediate-range Russia missiles as possessed and as also alleged a violation of the INF treaty. [Intermediate-range Nuclear force]

As extracted from the NATO press briefing of Ambassador Hutchison and for your perusal:

"October 2, 2018: Press Briefing by Ambassador Kay Bailey Hutchison"

"Question: [Inaudible] in Norway. Ma’am, can you be more specific what kind of new information that you are bringing to the table regarding the breach of the INF Treaty? And more explicitly also, what kind of countermeasures that you are considering."

"Ambassador Hutchison: The countermeasures would be to take out the missiles that are in development by Russia in violation of the treaty. So that would be the countermeasure eventually. We have documented on numerous occasions that Russia is violating. We have shown Russia that evidence. Some of our allies have seen that evidence. All of our allies have seen some of that evidence."

. . . .

"Question: Thanks, Ambassador. Lorne [Inaudible], Associated Press. Just to clarify a little bit when you said to take out the missiles that are in development, we are a little excited here. Do you mean to get those withdrawn? You don’t mean to actually take them out in a more [inaudible]?"

"Ambassador Hutchison: Well, withdrawing, yes. Getting them to withdraw would be our choice, of course. But I think the question was what would you do if this continues to a point where we know that they are capable of delivering. And at that point we would then be looking at a capability to take out a missile that could his any of our countries in Europe and hit America in Alaska."

AMBASSADOR HUTCHISON IT CAN BE REASONABLY INFERRED IS SUGGESTING AN AMERICAN PREEMPTIVE MILITARY STRIKE ON THE RUSSIAN MISSILES THAT ARE THE SUBJECT OF CONTROVERSY BETWEEN THE USA AND RUSSIA??

AN ATTACK OF WHICH SURELY WOULD LEAD TO WORLD WAR THREE AND GLOBAL THERMONUCLEAR CONFLICT, THE APOCALYPSE SO GREATLY FEARED!

You the devoted reader to the blog read and decide this all for yourself. It should be noted the  pronouncements of the Ambassador have been very quickly clarified as to mean no preemptive military action contemplated!! But the damage done?

This is coolbert:

As reported by the Internet web site G2mil:

"Oct 7, 2018 - Ambassador Threatens to Attack Russia"

"No one in Congress or our corporate media uttered an objection after a senior Trump administration official threatened a sneak attack on Russia that would ignite a nuclear war over a minor treaty dispute. She was not fired, forced to resign, nor even criticized."

"U.S. ambassador to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison said Washington remained committed to a diplomatic solution but was prepared to consider a military strike if development of the medium-range system continued."

THIS IS HOW WARS START! INADVERTENT AND ILL-CONCEIVED STATEMENTS BY HIGH OFFICIALS THE CONSEQUENCES OF WHICH ARE CONFLICT NO ONE WANTS BUT GETS!

See the article thanks to Reuters the press conference of Ambassador Hutchison and her pronouncements:

"U.S. would destroy banned Russian warheads if necessary: NATO envoy"

Within the historical context I am also thinking of two events declarations by "high officials" also alleged to have sent a wrong message that led to war.

1.  Ambassador April Glaspie her famous/infamous meeting with Saddam Hussein, 1990. Statements as misinterpreted leading to the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait and the First Gulf War.

2. American Secretary of State Dean Acheson his famous/infamous speech, 1950.  Statements as misinterpreted the result the Korean War. [such an assertion is highly disputed and should be.]

Dean Acheson in 1950, April Glaspie in 1990 and now Ambassador Hutchison in 2018, This sorta thing does occur from time to time.

This is coolbert:

From the Internet web site Press Reader and the article as seen in the Chicago Tribune the American Central Intelligence Agency honors some deceased operatives.

"Fog Lifted for CIA smokejumpers"

"Spy agency honors early casualties of 'secret war' in Laos."

"They were young firefighters-turned-CIA operatives working thousand of miles from home in a remote area of Southeast Asia . . .. David Bevan, Darrell Eubanks and John Lewis, all their their mid-20's, were on a mission to drop supplies to anti-Communist forces in what was then known as the Kingdom of Laos."

Persons as recruited an selected for air-crop missions over Laos those most suitable personnel found among those forest firefighters known as smokejmpers.

"A smokejumper is a wildland firefighter who parachutes into a remote area to combat wildfires. Smokejumpers are most often deployed to fires that are extremely remote."

"(The) CIA specifically invited/recruited smokejumpers into the covert operations business for several reasons: 1) We were damned good looking. 2) we didn't get airsick. 6) We were not active duty military 9) We were deniable. 10 ) Did I mention that we were good looking?"

Smokejumpers men of proven and demonstrable courage and ability of which there was no doubt. Ideal recruits for air-drop missions over unfriendly territory! At least the CIA thought so.

Fighting a forest fire about as close as you can get to combat without having the presence of an enemy shooting at you? Add parachutist to that list of analogous aspects.

Another American military man behaving badly. Aussies beware.

"Head of US marine force in Darwin stood down for drink-driving on nightclub strip"

Thanks to the tip from Freeper and the story by Jacqueline Breen courtesy ABC.

"The head of the US marine force stationed in the Top End [Darwin] has been relieved of his command for drink-driving on Darwin's nightclub strip."

"Colonel James Schnelle, 48, appeared in Darwin Local Court this morning, charged with medium-range drink-driving."

Charged and evidently relieved of command. Pending conviction? That is not clear? Nonetheless the man removed from his position.

Be ashamed. Be very ashamed. Setting a poor example for the lower ranking and younger men.

See previous blog entry [with further links] the topic the USMC contingent stationed Darwin:
